Here comes a latest and a very powerful track Dangal

from the movie Kushti sung by our very awesome singer

Shreya Ghoshal and Srineevas. I know posting this article

a bit late. sorry for that. The track dangal starts first with

some adventurous music. The track dangal it feels like its

the inspiration of the movie Jajantaram Mamantaram.

Srineevas starts the track. Then at 1:48 shreya starts singing

“Souchti rahoon main bas teri baatein…behkayal si hai ab meri raatein…”

 main kya karu tu bata de zamana” and ends at 2:27. when shreya sings in

 middle the “aa” sargam is awesome with nice beats.

Musical instruments used are TABLA, GUITAR AND SUITAR.

The whole track runs for 4:58sec. The movie is picturised on the

Kajraare Music Review!!!!

Few years back, Himesh tried out Rajasthani folk with upbeat Sufi-rock and succeeded in creating tracks like 'Thaare Vaaste' (SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM (2007)) and 'Kesariya' (NANHE JAISALMER (2007)) with particular tongue-twisted accented diction. This time it's 'Tujhe Dekh Ke' that comes with similar folksy touches in tandem with subtle westernized orchestrations and Sufi rock punch. The composition sounds average and overtly heard in arrangements and comes in format of duet. Shreya Ghoshal's slender rendition comes as added elements with Himesh's booming vocals and adds up as average sounding situational song.

In sentimentally profound 'Teriyan Meriyan', Himesh tries to recreate the tender magic of his softer toned tracks like 'Dhoom Teri Aashiq Ki' (KARZZZ (2008)) with added tinge of Sufi Punjabi flavors. It packs the modest Indian instrumental package of 'table', 'sarangi', 'jaltarang', 'sitar' and 'harmonium' in typical Himesh's style of composing. Like 'Aafren', it has trapping of 'ghazal-gayaki' with sublimity and tenderness in expressions with Shreya Ghoshal's subtle singing. The composition lacks novelty but brings back the typical Himesh Reshammiya's package of musical finesse. It's purely situational track and demands something striking to make sparks fly across the screen.

The tempo gets energized but the melancholic shades of love remains as the extra-enthused nasal twang of Himesh in loud tones strikes big in 'Woh Lamha Phir Se Jeena'. This fast-pitched has racy Bollywood's romantic appeal with routine Sameer's lyrical attributes. It's high on jarring percussive elements, enthused rock-mode appeal and makes loud statement of revisiting the old nostalgia of 'lost-love'. Harshdeep Kaur comes in brief rendition and simply adds femininity to the track and all together it's again Himesh at helm of affairs. It bears 'heard-before' syndrome and adds to the narrative situational factor in the flick.

It's great to hear that Himesh pertains to roots of Indian classical music and ends up the album with one of his finest romantic duet composition in 'Sanu Guzara Zamana'. The striking feature is sauntering melodic tuneful impacts incorporated in amalgam of typical Sufi fun with classical Indian musical base. Like 'Jhoot Nahi Bolna' (AAP KA SURROR (2007)), it has racy rhythmical combinations of instrumentals but in sluggish mode to deliver out typical Bollywood's melancholic track. Sunidhi Chauhan impresses and so do the 'alaap' chorals with Himesh's likable varying pitches in the soundtrack. For all Himesh's hard-core, this will be one of the most admirable listening treat that should be adding to pacing of the script in concluding reels. As predicted and desired, its 'lounge' remix appears to accentuate the euphoric love-appeal of the track. 'Sanu Guzara Zamana (lounge mix)' has relaxing feel that adds to the mushy ambience with trendy disco grooves incorporated in Sufi rock melodic base.

KAJRAARE recreates the Sufi rock punch of Himesh Reshammiya with his trademark of singing and composing. Despite the arrival and success of varied music genre and sub-genre in the marquee, it will be interesting to view listener's response to the album and thereafter its commercial success on the stands. Himesh returns back to his nasal twang singing and impresses in soundtracks like 'Kajrare', 'Aafren', 'Rabba Luck Barsa' and 'Sanu Guzara Zamana' while rest of them shows promise of rising up with flick's success. For all die-hard Himesh fans, this is a 'must-buy' affair but album will surely be finding hard times in competing with today's bestsellers like RAAVAN, I HATE LUV STORYS and RAAJNEETI. 

Shreya Ghoshal's lilting voice enthralls Amdavadis

 Shreya Ghosal, Bollywood's most sizzling singing sensation enthralled Amdavadis on Sunday's cool evening with her mesmerising numbers. Ghosal won the best female playback singer award for Teri Ore song in Singh is Kinng at the IIFA awards.

Pretty faced Shreya's soft lilting voice wooed the audience with her rendition of numbers like Bairi Piya from Devdas that managed to conjure up images of a nubile but willful young woman in an age where forceful voices are making merry. Her Jadoo Hai Nasha Hai was achingly sensual that made Amdavadis go delirious at live musical concert organized at the Rajpath Club and partnered by DNA.

The event was not only just a treat to the music lovers of the city, but will also help the backward class people.

“Twenty-five per cent of the profits from this show will be donated to the financially backward people,” said Brijraj Gadhvi, director of BG Events, organisers of the event.

Ghosal invited the audience to join her on journey of music with Chalo Tumko Lekar Chale Hum Un Fizao Mein from the film Jism. Although strong breeze made the singer uncomfortable, the singer in her made audience stay steadfast in their seats for nearly one and a half hour of absolute magic.

The Ghosals are 'idiots' as they let their daughter follow her heart — claimed a loving daughter Shreya Ghosal about her family. Bollywood's singing sensation and the only playback singer to have managed four national awards by the age of 26, Shreya shared her views about reality show, her hobbies and much more with DNA.


How do you identify yourself in Bollywood?
My voice and singing are my identity. I do not try too much to keep myself fit but I do all that requires me to keep the quality of my voice intact. One needs to do reyaz (practice) as every art can be perfected through practice only.

Besides singing, what else do you love to do?
I love cooking and make myself busy in the kitchen whenever I get an opportunity. Moreover, I dig fictions. Moreover, I love to plan vacations and go tracking with my friends, which unfortunately never happens. (laughs)  

What are your aspirations?
I look out for non-filmy songs. However, it is not that easy as there is not much market for such albums in India unlike in western countries. Still I aspire to do so.


What has been your family's role?
I congratulated Raju Hirani for making Three Idiots as it most relevant in every family. The Ghosals are also 'idiots'! In our colony when everyone aspired to be a doctor or an engineer and many people said deteriorating things when I decided to go for career in singing and did not take up science, my parents never let my moral go down at any point in time. They let their daughter follow her heart.

And your take on reality shows…
Reality shows are popular as people have their say in deciding the results. However, it does not guarantee that the the best will win. There are many factors like personality that determine the end results. Moreover, everything in reality show is not scripted, especially the judges comments.

How do you view the Amdavadi audience?

I have visited Ahmedabad many times. Here audience understands music - they enjoy not onlydhamal but also soulful songs. The city has produced many a talented singers like Aishwarya Majmudar. I enjoy singing as one can afford to sing songs that are beautifully composed though they may not be very popular. will win. There are many factors like personality that determine the end results. Ogo Bodhu Sundori (Bangla)

The track ogo bodhu sundori is one of my favouriate

Bangle track of 2010. which is sung by Babul Supriyo

and Shreya Ghoshal. Guys, I hope so you remember few

days before I posted some details about this track but couldn’t describe it..

Due to I din’t heard the track. Now I did so. Babul aur Shreya KYA baat!!! 

This guys had also made the Antaheen movie track (Pherarai Mon) hit.

And now it’s the chance of ogo bodhu sundori. I could like to describe it little. 

The track starts by Babul Supriyo and then shreya continues singing.
After 3min.15sec. the way she pronounce “Jaani Tumhari Chaunchaturi” is awesome.  Track runs for 3min.42sec. This track you can see at last of the movie.

“OGO BODHU SUNDORI” is very popular. Babul Supriyo himself acted 

in this movie and directed. Babulda and Shreyadi are GREAT!!! HATTS OFF!!          

B-town’s new poster divas!!!

Today, Bollywood’s female playback singers are stylish headturners who can give many stars a run for their wardrobes... 

They are the voices of our on screen demi-goddesses. While their songs ring loud and clear at various celebratory venues across the country, Bollywood’s female playback brigade today is not confined to the peripheries of the recording room anymore. A look at the new crop of playback singers from Bollywood will prove that they are a stylish lot always ready to put a fashionable foot forward. 

From Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal to Akriti Kakar, Anushka Manchanda, Shweta Pandit and the lot — the young ladies of B-Town playback not only cast a spell with their voices but make heads turn with their style statement. The reticent Sunidhi Chauhan made fashionistas across the country sit up and take note of her in Indian Idol 5. The singer looks sassy and sexy in her glam avatar as a judge in the reality show. Bollywood designer Rick Roy gives the lady a thumbs up for the new look. “I think Sunidhi looks lovely and refreshing as a judge on the show. The designs she wears are hip, trendy and youthful. She accessories her outfits well too,” says Roy. However, he feels, “There are times when these singers look too over the top on TV. The styling is not individualistic and it seems they are trying too hard. I feel they can do better. 

Another singer who is quite ‘with it’ in her style quotient is Shreya Ghoshal. Over a period of time, the young singer has brought about a drastic change in image and has become more stylish. “I don’t know about the image, but I love dressing up,” confesses Shreya. “My sense of style is completely mine — be it the toga style gowns or the short churidaars. I don’t have a stylist because it’s a drag to find a good one,” she says. Singer Akriti Kakar too likes being hip and dressing her ‘age’. “Every woman likes to look good and dress well. I’m no different. But looking pretty and dressing sexy does not mean we get more songs to sing,” laughs Akriti. Many playback singers feel that the new groomed look has a lot to do with the increase in number of stage shows. “On stage, you can’t hide behind the microphone. There has to be visual appeal. That’s when grooming helps,” explains Akriti. 

Shreya however feels that the new, improved look of most singers is mainly due to increase in visibility. “I think with the ever growing scrutiny from the media — one tends to get conscious. But I see nothing wrong in dressing your age and being stylish.”And we for sure aren’t complaining! 

Khuda Mere Khuda (Krantiveer)

Guys, after a long time shreya is singing with KK. Long

time means many months. Last it was HUM TUM AUR

GHOST- Dekho Raashte Mein track. That track was also

a beautiful hit. “KHUDA MERE KHUDA” it’s a romantic

track a nice jugalbandi KK and Shreya had done. Lets talk

about the track “oohh-aa” starts by shreya singing “Lamha

khaas hai jaaga jaaga naya ehsaas hai” this lyrics she  sung 2 times.

 In few antras the lyrics also get echoed in the part of KK. Shreya starts at 2:38sec. 

“Teri nazron ne jo chuaa hai ishq ka bikra nasha” again at 4:15sec.

 “Rehna rehna hain tere bahon mein kehna hain” Music is composed by  

Sachin-Jigar. Lyrics is given by Sameer. Musical instruments used are

Flute, Guitar, Drums, Gungaroo type music & Piano. And ends 

by beautiful “WHISTLE” and  piano music. Let’s watch out for something new

Kajraare

Here’s bring a new movie Kajraare a beautiful movie directed and launched by Pooja Bhatt. In this movie we can see 7 tracks that are made by Himesh Reshmaiya. In this 2 tracks are sang by our honey soaked voice Shreya Ghoshal its duet with composer, actor, dude Himesh. The First track is “Tujhe dekhe armaan jaage” the track starts with himesh singing ‘Mere Dholna’. And then at 2:31 sec shreya starts singing ‘Baas mein nahi yaara’ and end 2:56sec that paragraph. Most of the parts and lyrics of  this 2tracks are sung by himesh. And then some piano music comes in middle. At 4:11sec. shreya sings ‘Tere hawale kar di maine’ it’s a second paragraph in this track sung by shreya. Musical instruments used in this track are Sitar, Guitar, Drums, Piano. Mix of drums + Guitar the whole track. Atlast himesh sings “Oh Meherbarein”.

Guys, by not wasting time let’s move to the 2 nd track its “Teriyan Meriyan” it is also a duet sung by our melodius Queen and divine voice Shreya Ghoshal with Himesh. In this track starting there is very sweet music of Suitar, violin. A very peaceful it sounds. The track starts with “oh-oh”. Then shreya starts singing at 3:27sec. “Gudh se meethi Sapno ki akhiya kya karoon mein jaaniya” and ends that lyrics at 3:38sec. it’s a romantic as well as Punjabi flavour track. Then at 4:41sec. shreya sings “Rab se hamesha tujhko hi mangiye aage kya bholna. At 4:52sec. it ends. Musical instruments used are TABLA, SUITAR, VIOLION, FLUTE, DRUMS. The lyrics in this movie is given by Sameer. The whole track runs for 5:30sec.

Atlast i want to give a short review of this track. It ends by singing by Himesh “Teriyan Meriyan” most of the movie if we see for example Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Karzz in this shreya sings a very short paragraph. And mostly is sing by Himesh. In my point of view shreya should get a equal chance of singing by HIMESH. Overall BEAUTIFUL TRACKS!!!                  

I Hate LUV Storys

EXPECTATIONS When it comes to a film from the house of Karan Johar, you know that the music here would be big. And big doesn't necessarily mean opulent here, as has been the case with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham or Kabhi Alvidaa Naa Kehna. It also means big in terms of class, setting, treatment and overall appeal, as was the case in Karan's productions (which were helmed by other directors) like Dostana, Kurbaan or Kaal. These films may not have entered the 'shaava shaava' zone but had their own place in the sun while fitting in perfectly right as per the genre. Same is expected from I Hate Luv Storys as well which is a romcom with music by Vishal-Shekhar and lyrics by Kumaar, Anvita Dutt and Vishal Dadlani.

MUSIC With the name Vishal Dadlani flashing on the cards as the lead singer of the opening 'Jab Mila Tu', one gets the feeling that the composer is fast becoming a prolific singer as well. Is that a reason to complain? Not at all if the end result of 'Jab Mila Tu' is any indication. A young and happening track which has the potential to get popular amongst the campus crowds, this Anvita Dutt track belongs to the kind of soundtrack that goes along with many a Hollywood romcom. A sweet sounding rhythmic track, it does touch upon the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy zone, especially the kind of music that was heard in Wake Up Sid. What follows next is a beautiful number 'Bin Tere' which is certainly the highlight of IHLS. This time around Vishal Dadlani pitches in as a lyricist and along with Shekhar Ravjiani, he makes sure that the song stays with you long after the album is through. How do the composers do that? Well, they present as many as three versions of the song right from start till the end of the album. First to come is a duet by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Sunidhi Chauhan. A pensive track that thankfully doesn't turn into a 'sad outing' despite its mood, 'Bin Tere' has a classy feel to it and should make a better impact when seen with the film. A song about a couple which is longing to be together again after a period of separation, 'Bin Tere' later sees a reprise version where Shekhar Ravjiani comes behind the mike for a solo. With just a guitar playing in the background, this well laid out musical piece sees some good lyrics by Kumaar who ensures that this version stands out as well. There is one complain point for Shekhar here - Why does he sing so sparsely? Given the clarity in his voice and the right notes that he hits, he deserves to record his own voice more often. Finally comes the 'remix version' of this song which is designed for a club outing. Yet again, Shafqat Amanat Ali and Sunidhi Chauhan get together and one doesn't mind hearing the song all over again. After a mushy and a sad track, there is time for a peppy outing with Vishal Dadlani letting himself loose (as a singer) for the title song 'I Hate Luv Storys'. Written by Kumaar, this youthful number (which deserved a remix version for itself but surprisingly doesn't find any) has a Vishal-Shekhar stamp to it. A first of its kinds track if one goes by the theme and the lyrics, 'I Hate Luv Storys' is an instant hit number which should see audience coming to it in the first hearing itself. Rajasthani folk flavour kick starts 'Bahara' which is written by Kumaar. While Sona Mohapatra comes up with her folksy rendition, it is Shreya Ghoshal who takes the song through an out and out Bollywood route. While this part of the song does work, the fusion doesn't with the folk part seemingly more like an intrusion rather than an integral part of the romantic outing. However, there is respite just round the corner with the 'chill version' turning out to be highly effective. This time around, it is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who goes solo for the song and ensures that he does such a fantastic job that one ignores the female version that had just preceded it. One wonders why this version wasn't placed earlier in the album? Last to come is 'Sadka' which has a surprise in store. Suraj Jagan, who has been known for his rock and high adrenalin tracks (with an exception of 'Give Me Some Sunshine' - 3 Idiots), is pleasantly restrained in 'Sadka' where he has Mahalaxmi Iyer for company. Watch out for Anvita Dutt's lyrics here which are indeed different from the routine. A romantic track that has a grand feel to it, 'Sadka' belongs to the kind of romantic outings that can be expected in Karan Johar films.

OVERALL The biggest positive about the music of IHLS is the uniformity that it has from start till the finish. There are no major ups or downs as well as no striking highlights or lowlights. What works is the fact that the album has a constant theme to it which remains within boundaries without meandering into different directions. For those who love to hear those youthful melodious tracks composed by Vishal-Shekhar, I Hate Luv Storys is the one for them.

Bahara ( I Hate love Stories)

Awaited track of Shreya Ghoshal launches. Bahara from the movie I hate love stories. I was waiting for this track since when. But posting it bit late. Doesn’t matters. Lets talk about this awesome track. The track Bahara is sung by Shona Mohapatra and honey soaked beautiful voice singer Shreya Ghoshal. I will try to describe the track in a very sweet manner. The starting lines of the track is sung by Shona Mohapatra by some mix of rajasthani and folk music then shreya comes with her melodious voice “Bahara Bahara Hua Dil Pehli Baar ve”. Again Shona starts the mix of Rajasthani lines as she performs well. But I think so shreya can do it more better. Then after that there is some kind of soft music for 2 mins. Then after that immediately shreya sings “oh oh oh” she takes the sur as awesome. More the high notes. Goose Bumps!!! The track is Romantic and to it runs for 5 mins.25 sec. The music is given by Vishal-Shekhar and Shankar- Ehsaan-Loy. The whole track and all the beautiful paragraphs is sung by shreya with her blossom and awesome singing. While when the track ends by shona.  starcast is the movie are chocolate boy Imran Khan and the tall and sweet Sonam Kapoor. Directed by one and only Punit Malhotra.
