A Prabhu Solomon presentation. A John Max creation.
An D.Imman musical. After seeing these lines flash across
the screen during Mynaa trailer (Journey of love)! ‘Neeyum
Naanum’ is the song which begins with good piece of bass
guitar, tabla, drums, piano & violins. The song is rendered by
Shreya ghoshal & Benny dayal. Shreya’s syrupy sweet vocals
do wonders for the mynaa track. ‘Yugabharathi’ lyrics are a
breadth of fresh air he seems to be in fine form. Suddenly,
the basic rhythm is changed; from a western genre, you are
pushed into a carnatic music. Well, if D.Imman is given the
job to compose music, he definitely has a song or two to his
credit, this number is rendered by shreya with her distinct touch.
The Rip Rap, Hip Hop music continues but this time with a
different kind of English tracks.
The song is a mix of electronic, rock & perfect blend of classical
and soft rock. The track is dominated by the exquisite strumming
of multiple instruments like (guitars, synth, electronic acoustic violin)!
For 4:57 min. The plus point of the number is definitely the treatment
given to the lyrics and the music composition & the singers have done
a praiseworthy job! In short, the trio have tried to do something novel
& different from their signature style, which has indeed become success!
