Shreya Ghoshal's 'Shahar Ki Rani' from 'Tera Kya Hoga Johny' is creating waves all around and guess, who has unleashed this hidden talent of the singer? It's Abhishek Ray, the guy behind changing the 'voice culture' of the versatile singer.
Abhishek Ray says, "the song required Arabic tone and so I had to work hard with Shreya to change her voice culture". He also says, "'Shahar Ki Rani' is a very urban and funky number which depicts the city of Mumbai"
Abhishek Ray is very much into music since his high school days and has composed music for more than 500 TV serials.
He came into picture with his first album 'Udaas Paani' with Gulzar. Since then, there's no looking back for this phenomenal music director. Now, he wants to go commercial and explore all genre of music.
Abhishek's composition has now been chosen for the official campaign for the tiger conservation programme. He says, "I'm very close to nature and an authorized tiger tracker who is posted annually in various parts of the country for the tiger census. Tiger is an indicator of your 'own' future!"
So how he manages to come up with such influential tracks? He replies, "My musical side is effortless, melodies come to my mind when I'm traveling or even bathing. I don't believe in the concept of remixes, that's just the way of getting quick fame on somebody else's work"
